[span style=\'color:red\']ATTENZIONE:[/span]
Dalla serie "44" eMule affianca al classico sistema di hashing con blocchi da 9 mega anche un nuovo sistema con dimensione di 180KB (AICH, anche detto tiger tree hashing), in questo modo in caso di corruzione si potranno risparmiare molti mega di download inutile (in media 4.5 megabyte per ogni errore).
I link ED2K che contengono anche questi nuovi codici non sono indispensabili, ma molto utili, in quanto fonte di ulteriore certezza sulla diffusione di hash corretti per il proprio file.
In caso di un difetto nei dati scaricati, il vostro client chiederà ad un altro client versione 44 di scambiarsi l'AICH (e vi informerà di quanti mega sono validi di quelli scaricati se avete attivato il verbose log), il tutto senza nessun intervento da parte vostra.

A CAUSA DI QUESTA NUOVA FUNZIONE EMULE DOVRA' RIFARE L'HASHING DI TUTTI I FILE, quindi non spaventatevi se quando aggiornate sembra inchiodarsi il pc, andate su file condivisi e vedrete in alto la scritta File Condivisi (y, Hashing x) dove x indica il numero di file ancora da calcolare. Aspettate

Procedure di aggiornamento:

[span style=\'color:red\']Aggiornamento normale:[/span]
Scompattate l'archivio binario e copiate il file "eMule.exe" e le cartelle "webserver" e "lang" dentro la cartella contenente la vostra vecchia installazione di eMule.

[span style=\'color:red\']Per Conservare la precedente versione:[/span]
Scompattate l'archivio binario nel vostro disco, copiateci dentro la cartella "config" della vostra vecchia installazione di eMule e spostate le vecchie cartelle "temp" e "incoming" (così vi porterete dietro i file condivisi e quelli che stavate scaricando). Cancellate il vecchio file "preferences.ini" contenuto nella cartella "config" e poi reimpostate tutti i settaggi (soprattutto se stavate usando una versione modificata).

Potete fare un'installazione pulita: scompattate l'archivio binario e copiate i 2 file "preferences.dat" e "cryptkey.dat" dalla vecchia cartella "config" nella nuova "config" (manterrete i vostri crediti). Aggiornate quindi i server su http://ed2k.2x4u.de  cliccando sul link "add to emule" nella riga "best servers".
